HYDRATION FOR AGING CURLSLoose CurlsDehydration & DamageDecember 2, 2017Ouidad has done it again! As a devotee of the brand for decades, they have now given me a solution to hydrating my 68 year old curls! Vitalcurl gives my medium length loose curls definition and shine. I layer it on over Moisture Lock Conditioner and Bingo! smooth waves and natural curls.
Flakes on my hairClassic CurlsNormal/HealthyDecember 1, 2017I have tried this a couple times now in sample form and it has flaked every time. I don't know if it is because I mix it with gel or what. The curl cream alone does not hold my curls as I have really long, thick hair and I need a little something extra. However, the new Feather Light does not flake and I love that.
Great!Classic CurlsDehydration & DamageNovember 27, 2017Love this!
Not as great as the Featherlight Styling Cream, but still goodClassic CurlsFrizzNovember 24, 2017I like this stuff for extra definition in my curls. The only issue I have with it is if I use too much, it looks matted and sticky.
Worth the buyTight CurlsFrizzNovember 18, 2017Gave great definition to my curls
Hydration Miracle!Loose CurlsDehydration & DamageNovember 14, 2017I live in a very dry climate and my loose curls need constant hydration to maintain their definition. I layer Vitacurl over Moisture Lock Leave-In Conditioner and have finally found the perfect combination! No more crunchiness, only soft curls!
Nope!Classic CurlsFrizzNovember 5, 2017I ususally love Ouidad products, but this stuff doesn't work for me. It leaves my hair feeling matted and sticky. Sorry, but it is gross.
Doesn't work for me :-(Classic CurlsBrittleness & BreakageSeptember 30, 2017Makes my hair super heavy, does not look natural. 3 stars because works to combat the frizz.
VitaCurl Styling GelClassic CurlsFrizzSeptember 11, 2017This has been the best product I have found yet for taming the frizz. It also makes the curls softer once you have scrunched it after drying.
Prende Decent productClassic CurlsFrizzAugust 21, 2017This is the first time I use this product on my classic curls. I did like the definition however after a few hours my curls feel thirsty. Perhaps I need to put some leave in conditioner before applying this styling gel-cream.
- Creates lasting hold that's never sticky or stiff
- Enhances curls' natural definition
- Keeps curls hydrated, soft, and shiny all day
Classic curls crave both hydration and hold-so why not style them with a product that does both? Our VitalCurl™ Define & Shine Styling Gel-Cream is the ultimate hybrid styler: one part moisturizing cream, one part curl-defining gel.
This lightweight gel-cream creates the ideal conditions for uniform, frizz-free curl definition. With vitamins, natural proteins, and botanicals, it nourishes curls, enhances texture, and creates long-lasting hold for soft spirals that are never stiff or sticky. It's the best of both worlds for classic curls.

How To Use
Apply using Ouidad's Rake & Shake technique. Divide damp hair into sections. Spread a nickel-size dollop through each section. Begin at the nape of the neck, raking fingers through under-sections. When finished, hold the ends of hair in each section and shake to create curls. Let hair air-dry or blow-dry with a diffuser.
