Have combination curls? This wet-to-set style helps elongate your curl pattern in the back, for consistent coils all over. Plus, it makes for a sophisticated updo while drying.
Distribute gel through hair using the Rake & Shake technique: Rake a nickel-size amount of gel through each section of hair. Hold the ends of the section and shake curls into place.
Take a 2-inch wide section of hair, and separate into two strands. Twist the strands together.
Coil the twisted strands into a bun and secure with a bobby pin.
Continue creating twists and pinning to secure. Leave a few face-framing curls loose in front.
Add more pins to adjust the shape of the style as needed.
Allow curls to dry while in twists. Once hair is completely dry, unpin the twists and shake out your defined, frizz-free curls.
