An Inside Look into the Stylutions Launch Event
This past September marked the launch of our dry stylers collection, Stylutions, on our website and in stores and salons nationwide. What better way to celebrate the launch of revolutionary products than with an exciting launch event? With a perfectly curated dinner menu by chef Sophia Roe, a beautiful venue and a thrilling demonstration of the Stylutions collection, our NYC launch event did not disappoint. Keep reading to get the details on how we came together to bring the essence of Stylutions to life.
Ouidad’s very own Master Artistic Educator Chadwick Pendley treated guests to a demonstration on model Denise Garcia to show just how easy and effective the Stylutions line was to use. He really drove home the point that the Stylutions collection is to be used on all curl types with varying degrees of usage.
After a thrilling demonstration and a chance to mix and mingle, our guests were invited to a sit-down dinner with a menu not only carefully curated by chef Sophia Roe but also featuring the very key ingredients from each Stylutions product. For example, the dessert was a carob olive oil cake with manuka honey ice cream and walnut brittle. Nourishing ingredients that you can put both in your hair and body are the core of the Stylutions collection.
Guests also had the chance to experience the Stylutions ingredients up close with three discovery tables laid out with the natural oils and foods within each product. Walnuts, manuka honey, rose hips and Argan oil were just a few of the ingredients on display for guests to learn about.
At the end of the night, guests were able to walk away with curl inspired Mejuri earring plus Bio Ionic and WetBrush product held in Caraa bags. Last but not least we also gave them Stylutions products of their own. We’re so excited to see the looks created with this line and the journey into a new wave of curl styling.
