Ingredients

Using my Rake & Shake technique, apply a nickel size dollop to palms and work evenly to sections of damp hair. Starting at the nape area take a 2" section of hair from ear to ear, and rake the lotion through; holding section at the end, then shake to reset your curl pattern. Repeat entire process, working in sections to the top of the head to your desired style.

Love it! This leaves my hair soft, shiny, and full of bounce. My waves are defined and frizz is kept under control, no matter how humid it gets in NYC. I highlight my hair and Tress Effects keeps it moisturized without weighing it down. I never get crunchy hair with this gel. It also washes out very easily. I tried Climate Control and didn't like it nearly as much. I'm so glad this wasn't discontinued. I was concerned there for a while when it went missing from the shelves. It's my Holy Grail styling product.

This is the ONLY product I will use. Unlike a normal gel that leaves my hair feeling heavy and sticky, Tress Effects is light and I can even run my fingers thru my hair. I can even sleep on my hair and it still looks great the next day. I've been using this product for 10 years and I'll never switch!

This is one of the first products I used from Ouidad and I really like it - gives my fine, thin curls definition and a voluminous boost too! I live in Chicago, so summers can be very humid so I usually swap out Tress Effects for Climate Control, which gives better protection in the humidity. At any rate, I'd say my 2 favorite Ouidad products are Climate Control and Tress Effects.

I really like this product because it controls my curls without making my hair look stiff or wet. There are days when this product does not last all day, causing my hair to become frizzy. But overall I really like this product and would recommend it.

this is the only gel that I will ever use, I have tried other gels for curly hair and they either leave my hair stiff or my hair gets frizzy. I have recomended tress effects to other curly girls and they love it. not all hair is the same and curly hair needs special treatments, and thats what tress effects is, a special treatment.

This gel is AMAZING!!!!! I have tried SO many different curly ahir products and this one is the best!!! not only does it give your curls and amazing boost, it holds for days if it needs to! I'm in a performer and I do 8 shows a week, and I know when I use this gel, my hair will look great on stage show after show. I highly reccomend it!!!

Tress Effects is hands down the best styling gel I have ever used on my hair. The light control is so great, my hair is soft with no stiff or sticky residue, and it smells wonderful! Some people have even asked if they can touch my hair because they thing it seems unreal! The best part is that these crazy curls are so easy to maintain.
