Before and After… Get the Look!
From Dry to Dazzling
Step 1Apply a dollop of Moisture Lock Leave-In Conditioner to your palms, and rub hands together
Step 2Gently run your hands through your damp or wet hair, spreading the conditioner. Leave in conditioner without rinsing
Step 3Apply a nickel size amount of Climate Control to 3-4 sections of hair.
Step 4Run the Double Detangler comb gently through hair to set your curl pattern
Step 5Spritz on Styling Mist evenly. After mist dries, scrunch hair lightly with fingers to eliminate any stiffness
Step 1Wash hair with Clear & Gentle Shampoo
Step 2Apply Balancing Rinse Conditioner in sections and allow hair to absorb proteins and moisture for 3 minutes
Step 3Apply a nickel size of Tress Effects Styling Gel to 3-4 sections of hair
Step 4Rake fingers through hair; holding each section at the end, then shake to set your curl pattern
Step 5Dry with a diffuser to add volume and scrunch your hair lightly as you dry
Step 1Wash hair with PlayCurl Volumizing Shampoo
Step 2Apply PlayCurl Volumizing Conditioner in sections and allow hair to absorb proteins and moisture for 3 minutes
Step 3Apply dollop of PlayCurl Foam to 3-4 sections of hair
Step 4Rake fingers through hair; holding each section at the end, then shake to set your curl pattern.
Step 5Use a diffuser or allow to air dry, dabbing excess water from hair with a towel.

Use styling gels that offer curl definition, moisturization, and frizz control
Let hair air dry or use a hair dryer on low heat with a diffuser
Do not use a brush or comb on your dry curls which will cause the hair to expand and contribute to frizz
Ouidad’s Curly Hair Tips
Use duckbill clips on the crown of your head to lift top curls. To properly position curls, open clip no more than a half-inch to inch wide. Gently slide clip along scalp and keep it as close to root as possible. Position clips to lift the hair evenly across the crown, working from front to back. Allow hair to dry and then remove.

Reduce tangles by sleeping on a satin pillowcase
To enhance waves once they are dry, rub a little shine serum into the palm of your hands and smooth over your hair gently. This will add a sheen and tame any stray fly-aways.
