Ouidad styles the cast of Broadway's newest hit musical!

Mandy Gonzalez
Mandy came to the In The Heights, The Musical shoot asking for softer curls. Lead Ouidad stylist, Ayanna, complied and began this softer look by using Curl Quencher Gel, which contains rich botanical emollients and Pro-Vitamin B5, a penetrating moisturizer that conditions, defines and holds dry, thirsty curls. Curl Quencher gel not only gave Mandy the added moisture her curls needed, but gave them the light bounce she desired.

On her way to the photo shoot, Nina knew she wanted to wear her hair wild and messy, just as she does in her daily life. According to Ayanna, Janet’s hair contains a mixture of curl patterns that include loose waves and tight ringlets. Ouidad Hits Broadway!
This February, a new musical will hit the Great White Way, and Ouidad will be on-board to style the cast.
Winner of the 2007 Outer Critics Circle Award and the 2007 Lucille Lortel Award for best musical, In the Heights is a fresh journey into one of Manhattan’s most vibrant neighborhoods, Washington Heights. But, one of the freshest things about this show is the mainly curly-haired cast!
Enter the Queen of Curl, stage left – Ouidad, as she’s more commonly known, will provide styling support for curly cast members throughout the season at the theatre, as well as off-stage during personal appearances, photo shoots and premieres. Ouidad will also provide personal lessons for the cast to create their own “look,” and donate product backstage so everyone can have picture-perfect hair.
Most recently, two of Ouidad’s top stylists, Ayanna and Ana were on-hand to create “the look” for the latest advertising campaign.
