Salon Manager
Location: Santa Monica, California
Ouidad is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic business manager to oversee all salon day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities include:
Managing the entire business of the Salon-growth, profitability, utilization, schedule, customer service, etc.
Managing and motivating entire salon team
Ensuring highest level of customer service
Building warm and positive relationships with all customers and staff
Maintaining an impeccable salon presentation and merchandise display
Educating customers on product formulations and ingredients
Overseeing all booking, check-in and check-out processes
Tracking daily business performance and measuring achievement vs. goals
Managing salon budgets, product inventories and supplies
Creating and implementing exciting, new business-building ideas
Skills required:
Excellent communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and a team spirit
Take charge personality with a team orientation
Positive, upbeat attitude
Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Experience in high end hotel operations as a business manager, Spa or salon business management experience or management of business unit in the hospitality industry

Director of Finance
Location: New York, NY & Danbury, CT
Assists CEO with the financial affairs of the organization and with preparation of financial analyses of operations, including interim and final financial statements with supporting schedules, for the guidance of management.
Position Reports To: CEO
Overall Duties and Responsibilities:
Directs and coordinates company financial planning and budget management functions.
Oversees and executes daily/monthly/quarterly responsibilities of finance/accounting depts.
Prepares monthly consolidated financial statements and supporting schedules for management and all board meetings, providing variance analysis of actual results against the budget and the strategic plan.
Manages cash flow activity.
Ensures adequate liability insurance is obtained at minimum cost.
Works with external accountants and tax professionals to coordinate the annual audit and filing of returns.
Responsible to instituting and maintaining a system of internal controls to safeguard the company’s assets and ensure accurate processing of all transactions.
Specific Responsibilities:
Manages, forecasts, and analyzes cost of goods and expenses across all P&L accounts to ensure accuracy and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Responsible for the development, presentation, and analysis of all financial reports.
Prepares various cash, AP discount, and capitalization reports on a monthly basis.
Reviews and approves accounts payable disbursements, verifying that they are payable with company policy.
Files necessary tax and other regulatory returns on a quarterly basis.
Responsible for closing books at month end in a timely manner, making necessary journal entries.
Monitors and manages A/R.
Reviews and approves applications for new credit arrangements.
Communicates with company’s bank representatives.
Reviews and manages capital equipment requests and approval process.
Oversees and issues weekly payroll.
Ensures all monthly bank and other general ledger reconciliations are performed on a timely basis.
Competencies:
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Very strong computer skills. Latest version of Excel and PowerPoint a must. Experience with QuickBooks and other accounting software required.
Experience in managing the migration to more sophisticated accounting software required.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong management and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Willingness to travel/commute between Danbury, CT facilities and Corp. offices in Manhattan.
CPA preferred.
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a management position in finance.

Location: Danbury, CT
Ouidad is looking for an individual dedicated to providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities Include:
Handle incoming customer service phone calls
Ensuring highest level of customer service
Educating customers on product formulations and ingredients
Providing product recommendations
Pick/pack orders in our warehouse as needed
Skills Required:
Able to handle in-bound phone calls with consistent professionalism
Excellent customer service skills
Perfect telephone etiquette
Computer proficiency a must
Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
Superior written communication skills (grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc.)
Articulate with problem-solving abilities
Strong attention to detail
Able to multi-task, prioritize, and take on responsibility
Ability to type 40+ WPM
Strong interpersonal skills and a team spirit
