Maxis are all the rage for Spring/Summer 2012 and well into Fall. They are so comfortable to wear, girlie and easy dress up or down! On cold summer nights, you can pair them with a moto jacket for an edge, a boyfriend blazer for a vintage feel or a beautiful scarf for an all around feminine look.

There are an array of styles you can choose from (as seen below). I have put together the top six trends; color block, aztec print, tie-dye, floral, stripes and solid colors.

Be sure to have fun and explore with happy hues and prints!!!

Stylish Spring Summer Looks For Boys & Girls by StylePantry.com

This week, we are focusing on the little ones! I understand that our kids grow fast but the trick that has always worked, especially for my 3 kids, is buying their clothes a size or two bigger so they can grow into it. If you have more than one child, you can also pass it down the line, and get more than your money’s worth.

Personally, I have put my daughter in clothes that my son used to wear. Blazers, oxford shirts, fitted tees, straight cut jeans – and they look really chic and stylish on her. She loves it. Plus it adds sentimental value and creates a deeper bond for them.

Whether you are making the clothes, buying them at Macy’s, Target or the GAP, it’s all about how you pick each item and how you put them all together. I can’t speak for anyone else’s kids, but my little ones definitely enjoy wearing fun and different outfits.

Here are some summer essentials and looks that I have put together. You can mix and match these pieces below; together they’ll make a great foundation for tons of fun summer outfits.

Spare Your Hair with Sun Shield Care…

Before the warm days of summer are quickly replaced by the defining colors of autumn, it’s utterly vital to soak in the last moments of sun.

Preferably, on a  beach.

Assuming you aren’t one of “those people” whose been hiding from the surgeon general warnings for the past decade, you understand the importance of skin safety. Although I relish the particularly delicious feeling of a bronzed glow, I value the health of my skin, as well as that of my hair.

Shocking, I know, to think that a curl who blogs for a name as prestigious as Ouidad has something to say about sun+hair safety.

Lucky for you (but not for my family) I ALWAYS have something to say. And right now, as I sit here blogging inside a quaint coffee shop in the center of East Hampton, NY, I’ve got something to say about keeping your hair healthy and happy while basking at the beach.

Your hair is like an Elephant-“It remembers everything.” It remembers the perm you may have had, the tacky highlights, the flat irons, the alcohol based products, you get the point.

So, give your hair the opportunity to revel in a happy memory (or two, hey, even three!) and keep it healthy with Ouidad’s Sun Shield & Sport Leave-In spray. All the cool kids/tweens/teens/soccer moms/cougars are doing it too!

Me and my beach must have!

After swallowing enough salt water to bring home for an in ground pool, I like to come up for some air and sometimes even smile for a quick photo with my product of choice.

As you can see above, I’m having a really wonderful time with my Sun Shield Sun & Sport Leave-In Conditioner. Rather than spray sunscreen into my hair post ocean adventures, I sprayed this little gal onto my long/medium length hair.

In addition to providing the utmost protection, it took away that unruly “straw” feeling my hair sometimes gets after a dip in the sea.

Better yet is when I come home for nice long shower (and obviously douse my hair with Ouidad’s Curl Quencher Conditioner) my hair actually says “Thank you for protecting me from the runs UVA+UVB rays and demons of sorts!”

So, my friends, I leave you with this: enjoy the remainder of your summer the smart and healthy way with Ouidad’s Sun Shield & Sport Leave-In Spray.

Summer Lovin’
