The Next Generation of Ombre

My clients love graduated color or ombre, which I have taken to the next level through color blending.

Instead of having a clear line of dark to light, I blend the lighter pieces within the depths of the hair so there is no point of origin. You have a beautiful gradual effect with an updated technique.

For my clients who are a single process, you can never go wrong with face framing highlights. They can soften a look and compliment facial features.

Being inspired by 1920’s  and 60’s fashion, I see a comeback to hair accessories. Particularly headbands placed across the forehead and floral adornments.

Want to really turn heads? Combine my graduated color blending technique with an innovative loose side braid or tussled up do.

It is not always about cutting your hair to change your style. Color can take your look to a new level. I always find the seasonal changes the perfect time to update my color clients looks.

Embracing Your Natural Texture with Balayage

With women embracing their natural texture, I see a return to 1960’s and 70’s with hair color and styling.

Think middle parts with beachy waves cascading with sun kisses highlights.

Brigitte Bardot blonde meets hippie chic and Cleopatra Jones with warm tones graced across her curls.

Balayage and three dimensional color placement can enhance all of these styles and textures beautifully.

The Balayage technique is perfect for all hair textures. It allows for creativity and adds movement to create a natural finish. This is the healthier hair technique when highlighting.

Curly textures can add three dimensional pops of color to enhance eye color and facial structure.

I have many clients who are still trending towards bright and violet hues in their blonde, brunette or red hair which is always fun to explore.

It is all about using the correct color and placement technique in the salon and finding the correct home care to preserve the color and integrity of the hair.
