When Modern Salon Magazine was looking for perfection on a special magazine insert entitled “Texture!” they knew just who to call. Ouidad and her assistant, Ayanna Augustine-John, brought in the patented “Carve and Slice” technique to Modern Magazine to help their model’s curls look their very best!

The shoot was a great opportunity to showcase Ouidad’s cutting and styling methods, and, as Modern Salon Magazine put it, “maximize and beautify” those waves and waves of curls.  Of course Ouidad came loaded with the unmatched“Rake and Shake” method to help those locks look camera-ready. By providing the perfect products and techniques needed for the “Texture” insert shoot, Modern Salon Magazine decided to also use one of the models for that month’s Modern Salon cover as well. That’s double the curls and double the whorls!
