This week, we are focusing on the little ones! I understand that our kids grow fast but the trick that has always worked, especially for my 3 kids, is buying their clothes a size or two bigger so they can grow into it. If you have more than one child, you can also pass it down the line, and get more than your money’s worth.
Personally, I have put my daughter in clothes that my son used to wear. Blazers, oxford shirts, fitted tees, straight cut jeans – and they look really chic and stylish on her. She loves it. Plus it adds sentimental value and creates a deeper bond for them.
Whether you are making the clothes, buying them at Macy’s, Target or the GAP, it’s all about how you pick each item and how you put them all together. I can’t speak for anyone else’s kids, but my little ones definitely enjoy wearing fun and different outfits.
Here are some summer essentials and looks that I have put together. You can mix and match these pieces below; together they’ll make a great foundation for tons of fun summer outfits.
