These looks are not only on trend, but look fabulous on curly hair!
The Ombre trend is still going strong! Painted (balayage) natural blonde tones are mixed with a deeper brunette base to create the perfect sun-kissed look on any texture.
The new trending Ombre is kept in a natural realm. If the base is dark, the ombre tones are more of a medium brown, versus much lighter blondes.
On lighter bases, platinum and violet tones are shown in current color collections, adding a modern twist.
Platinum blonde is a synthetic-feel bleach-blonde, but with natural looking roots. Platinum continues to rise in popularity and is staying strong on trend boards for 2014.
Keeping a “rooty look” (can be achieved by shadowing the root with a demi color after the lightening process) keeps the look modern and lived in.
Color gloss treatments, like Ouidad Color Sense Shine Boosting Color Extender, between services will keep the tone and shine.
This is perfect for clients that want the fun of experimental color – but without the commitment and maintenance.
Can be especially fun because you can change your look to match your outfit! For the party girl on the go!
Modern Red Tones
New reds are not just limited to copper or violet-based tones. Rose golds, peaches and pinks are modern shades incorporated into deep to strawberry blonde shades.
Our Color Sense Collection is perfect to keep these easy to lose colors in the hair. The Color Sense Shine Boosting Color Extender is this color’s best friend.
