The new cast for ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” was recently announced, and Ouidad couldn’t be happier. That’s because several of the celebrity dancers have bouncing curly hair, which should help on the dance floor!?

On the ladies’ side, Bristol Palin, Brandy Norwood and Margaret Cho all have been known to wear their long hairstyles with waves. And then there’s Jennifer Grey of Dirty Dancing fame, who now sports an adorable mid-length head of curls that keeps her looking as perky as when she danced with Patrick Swayze back in 1987!

As for the men, two of them are among our curly-haired favorites: always dapper David Hasselhoff with his coiffed and short curls. And Michael Bolton, who is as well known for his flowing curly mane in the past (then traded in for a closely cropped cut) as his deep resonating voice. Either way, he’s a handsome fellow, but we must admit some partiality to the old romance-novel-cover look that he gave up!
