Shipping Information

Ouidad makes the utmost effort to expedite your order and normally we are able to ship the same day, for orders received up to 2:45 pm Eastern time. We strive to insure that your order is completed accurately and can withstand the normal package handling that is typical while in the hands of the various delivery companies that we utilize. Should there be any questions regarding your order, we may need to get in contact with you, so it is important that you include a current telephone number and valid email address. Our Customer Service team will attempt to resolve any issues with you as soon as possible.

It is important to understand that occasionally delays do occur while in the hands of the delivery carrier. Ouidad is not notified of these delays, so should you become aware of any issue and require assistance, please contact us. A link is provided with your order confirmation, which will enable you to track your order, should you choose to do so.

1. What are my shipping options.

Ouidad�s primary carrier is FedEx SmartPost. This service operates similar to many other carriers, except that the final delivery to your location is actually done by the U.S. Postal Service. This enables us to ship directly to any destination in the United States, including P.O boxes, as well as APO, FPO and DPO destinations. Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands and all other U.S. territories are all covered by this service.

Should you prefer to utilize one of the UPS options, we can accommodate your request, at extra cost.

2. What is your shipping charge?

Continental United States:
FedEx SmartPost to all destinations. Flat charge of $5.95

Options:
UPS Ground: Current UPS rate based on the weight and zone of the package.
UPS Next Day Air: Current UPS rate based on the weight and zone of the package.
UPS 2nd Day Air: Current UPS rate based on the weight and zone of the package.
UPS 3 Day Select: Current UPS rate based on the weight and zone of the package.

Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, U.S. Territories:
FedEx SmartPost: Current rate based on the weight of the package.
UPS Next Day Air: UPS rate based on the weight and zone of the package.
UPS Second Day Air: UPS rate based on the weight and zone of the package.
USPS: Current USPS rate based on the weight and zone of the package.

Military Addresses, APO, and FPO:
FedEx SmartPost: Current rate based on the weight of the package.

International, Non U.S. Address:
UPS Express Air: UPS rate based on the weight and zone of the package.
UPS Expedited Air: UPS rate based on the weight and zone of the package.

Note: UPS is the preferred way to ship packages internationally. UPS offers customs brokerage fees, contents insurance, guaranteed delivery, and package tracking. Delivery to street addresses only.

Caution: Customs fees and/or additional duties or taxes levied by the country of destination are the responsibility of the recipient.

Note: You will be required to allow up to 45 days for delivery before a package inquiry will be initiated. Caution: USPS DOES NOT offer collection of customs brokerage fees, guaranteed delivery or package tracking. 3. Do you ship the same day I order?

Ouidad strives to ship all orders on the same, or next business day after order receipt. Our standard is to ship all orders, received by 2:45 pm Eastern time, the same day, but this cannot be guaranteed. We will not offer shipping refunds due to delays in processing your order, or due to complications while in the hands of the carrier. Consequently, estimated shipping time is calculated from the day of pickup, not the day the order is submitted. Please view the online estimated shipping date that appears on the orders page before submitting your order. If an expedited package is delivered late, we will track your package and upon confirmation of the delay we will refund the difference between the expedited shipping charge and the regular ground charge.

4. Do you ship internationally?

Yes! We ship to most countries where UPS offers International Service.

5. Why can Styling Mist, Shine Glaze Serum, Whipped Curls Conditioner, and Curl Last only be shipped via ground transportation?

The US Department of Transportation restricts air shipments of material items that could contribute to a fire or other mishap on board an aircraft. Should you require an expedited service, please insure that these products are not included on your order. Any orders that contain these items, will be shipped FedEx SmartPost or UPS Ground, if selected.

6. What if I type in my address incorrectly?

Incorrect addresses can cause delays and complications to your order and ultimate delivery. Further, address correction charges can be levied for wrong or missing zip codes, apartment or suite numbers, as well as incorrect cities, states, or street addresses.

7. What if my package gets returned to you?

In the unlikely event that your package is returned to us, either due to damage in transit or an undeliverable address, we will contact you and advise you of the situation and request instructions.

10. Do you charge sales tax?

Only orders shipped to a Connecticut address are subject to a 6% state sales tax. Per Connecticut state law, sales tax must be computed on the subtotal of items plus the shipping cost. We do not collect state sales tax for any other state at this time.
