Rania is great!! Straightforward, great sense of humor!! I felt comfortable right away, and knew I could trust her with my curls. Can't wait to grow out enough to go back!!!

I never got a Ouidad haircut at any place other than New York but I was in the D.C. area and needed a haircut badly. I was very happy with the results. Rania did a terrific job and my haircut was exactly the same as the haircuts I received at the flagship Ouidad salon. The staff was very nice as well, and I even received a follow-up call to inquire how my hair was doing I will definitely be back to Salon Red if I am in the area.

I'm very reluctant to let anyone new cut my curls. Rania knew exactly what she is doing. I've had my hair cut by Anna at Ouidad's in NY, and could tell that Rania knew how to handle the cut, curls and color. Great salon overall, very comfortable, friendly and pleasant. Worth the hour drive from No. Va. I'm uber-happy!

Based on reviews here, I made an appt with Christie back in Nov '09. It is now Feb '10 and my hair still looks great!! She explained everything, including the fact that due to my last layered cut, we wouldn't get the full Ouidad effect. She recommended I return in 4 months, which will give the layers a chance to grow out. I'll definitely be heading back to her next month!!

After hearing about Ouidad from a friend, I took my 8-year-old to have her hair done. She has very curly hair that gets puffy, so won't wear it down, her hair is always braided or in a ponytail. After leaving the salon, she said It's almost hard to believe. I think I'm even smiling more. It has been over two weeks since having her hair done...and she still wears it down. Her complaint now is that everyone at school touches her hair. Belinda did an awesome job, and took time to show mom how to handle this curly hair. I was hesitant to spend the money on an 8 year old...but it was worth every single penny.

I had my first Ouidad hair cut from Rania on Wednesday. I have been using Ouidad products for a year & love them. I was first of all impressed by how friendly the staff was, offering me a beverage & helping me to feel comfortable after my 2 hour drive from Baltimore. Rania spent time with me before my shampoo going over my current hair cut & what she was going to do with my hair as well as what it was about my current hair cut that wasn't working. I really appreciated that! Patti, I think that was her name, gave me a shampoo & wonderful scalp massage, which is why I probably can't remember her name, my brain went to jello after that! Rania explained the cut technique while she was cutting & then after the cut had any loose hair rinsed out. I appreciated that extra step. Of course the time spent showing me how to use the products as well as the product recommendations were invaluable. I couldn't be happier with my hair! What a difference! I will definitely being traveling to Gaithersburg to get my hair done from now on. On a side note, as a first time customer I was given 15 off of my products. The products are more expensive than they are online even with the discount. So just be aware before you buy. I did appreciate being shown how to use them which helped more than the online videos. Overall an excellent salon & well worth the trip.

I had the Ouidad certified cut and style by Christy in April 2009. I have very curly hair and live by the Ouidad web-site for tips. However, Christy was able to show me how to better style my curls by correctly using the duck clips. She was patient and went through the process several times until I used the correct technique. I have never been in a salon where someone knows more about my curls than I do. It was a wonderful experience!!!I live in Mississippi but have family that lives in the Baltimore area. I will be booking an appointment with Christy every time I visit the area!!!

I got my first Ouidad haircut from Rania on Saturday, 7.18 and I am amazed by the results! I am so happy that I made the trip to the salon - it was a 3 hour drive to get there from my house. It was so worth it! Rania did a fabulous job and she helped me with the styling technique. I recommend this salon to anyone who leaves near or far.
