The 3 words that best describe my cutting style are:
    Free flowing, organic, fun

When my clients leave the salon I want them to feel:
I want my clients to feel they have had a relaxing experience with a professional who has taken the time to listen to their needs; has the knowledge to transform their hair into flattering amazing current shape that they feel great about reproducing everyday themselves.

    My biggest inspiration is:
As a fiber artist working with wool and silk I am inspired by color. I love to study the natural variations of color in virgin hair. I am inspired by my daughters natural, light reflecting locks as well as their street fashion.

My favorite thing about curls is:
The way they soften lines in the face, the casual playfulness they suggest. How unique ahead of curls can be with different textures, density, colors, and curl patterns, existing all in one head.

The words I live by are:
Everything is hard before it is easy.

What inspired you to be a hairstylist?
From a young age I watched my sister with her straight blond hair in envy, I eventually was brushing everyone's hair in the neighborhood and cutting bangs, or wrapping home perms. My own frustrations of having a stylist never listen or know how to handle my curls lead me to want to be a stylist who listened and met my client's needs.

My greatest professional accolades or accomplishments are:
Opening my own business and successfully operating for 24 years.

The 3 words that best describe my cutting style are:
    Precise, individual, and manageable.

When my clients leave the salon I want them to feel:
Amazing! I want my clients to feel like they learned new ideas about their hair that they never knew. How to style it differently, take care of it, and what fits their personality and lifestyle.

    My biggest inspiration is:
Art, fashion, just walking around the city and taking in the culture and style.

My favorite thing about curls is:
The ability to educate and show clients with all different types of curly hair how to embrace their curl instead of fight it. It is an amazing discovery to all of them!

The words I live by are:
    Passion, creativity, honesty, loyalty.

What inspired you to be a hairstylist?
I have always been drawn to fashion, make-up and the art of hair and how one wears it. Hair can make a statement from classy and elegant to mellow and laid back. Hair styles do not have to be difficult to be "done" and have a finished look. Knowledge is the Power of fabulous daily hair and I love to share my knowledge!

My greatest professional accolades or accomplishments are:
Working in the heart of Seattle, numerous awards and certifications I have received, teaching the European Balayage technique to Washington salons, and still having a great passion and thirst for knowledge in the fine art of hairdresing.
