Ouidad: The Curl Experts

Melissa has always had a passion for curls and as a hair stlyist for 17 years, she's thrilled to have been Ouidad certified for the past four. She enjoys sharing her curl knowledge with her clientele and having them leave her chair with a love for their own curls.

Sara M has been working with hair for 16 years and has been Ouidad certified for four. Her ulitmate goal is to giving clients the curl experience they have always wanted. With her Ouidad certification, she's thrilled that this has become a reality.

Jennifer has always been a smart business woman and when it came to making her salon a Ouidad Salon Affiliate, it was her smartest move yet! The Ouidad Affiliation not only complimented her service menu but, set Innovations Salon apart from the rest by offering something special. Being able to address the needs curly haired customers has proven to be a very rewarding experience. Together, Jennifer and her staff work diligently to make sure every client leaves satisfied and gets their curls treated right!

Traci and Ouidad are both strong believers in “freeing your curls” and exhibiting natural beauty. After years of struggling with her own naturally curly hair, Traci discovered Ouidad and her curl changing ways. Since becoming Ouidad certified, she is thrilled to be able to solve the curl challenges of her clientele.

Ryane has been working in the hair industry for five years and became Ouidad certified at the beginning of 2008. She gives each of her clients the star treatment and most importantly, makes sure they leave her chair feeling happy and beautiful.

Sarah Rose has been in the hair industry for the past seven years. The greatest reward for her has been seeing her clients leave with both healthy and great-looking curls as a result of her Ouidad certification.

Jenna has been a stylist for 4 years. She struggled with her own curly hair for years and was encouraged by her colleagues at Innovations to travel to NYC and train with Ouidad. Jenna specializes in color and also has previous experience as a manager and color trainer. She is inspired by people who think outside the box, and never wants to stop learning and growing.

Ashley has been a part of the hair industry for five years and likes to keep up to date on trends and new styles. She has a thirst for knowledge and is eager to learn new, trend setting techniques that will allow her to take her career to the next level. Ashley has a very open and caring approach, leaving her clients not only looking their best but also understanding their hair needs.

My biggest inspiration is:
Any successful salon owner or stylist. This is not a hobby for me, it's a career, so I would love to grow and be as successful as possible.

My favorite thing about curls is:
Their movement and body, the way they truly soften the face.

What inspired you to be a hairstylist?
I have always enjoyed making people over, even as a child. I felt that hair came to me naturally and I love color.
