Clear & Gentle Shampoo: Using your fingertips, gently massage through wet hair and scalp. Rinse with warm water and follow with Ouidad Balancing Rinse.
Balancing Rinse: Apply in sections and comb through hair using a wide-tooth comb while in the shower. Start at the bottom of the hair and work towards the scalp. Do not rinse immediately! Allow to remain for 3 minutes to plump hair with moisture and protein. Rinse. If you prefer, allow a small amount of conditioner to remain on ends as a leave-in treatment.
Botanical Boost: After shower or shampoo, spray evenly and sparingly on damp hair to detangle and preserve moisture. (Concentrate a little extra on ends.) In the morning, use to refresh your curls during the day, revive and retract expanded curls with a botanical boost!
Climate Control: Using my Rake & Shake technique, apply a nickel size dollop to palms and work evenly to sections of damp hair. Starting at the nape area take a 2" section of hair from ear to ear, and rake the lotion through; holding section at the end, then shake to reset your curl pattern. Repeat entire process, working in sections to the top of the head to your desired style.
 Never bunch or scrub hair together while shampooing-you'll abuse the cuticle and set yourself up for weaker, frizzier hair. Use your fingertips only and massage the scalp, then gently comb outstretched fingers in a downward motion through the hair to cleanse and detangle.
It is not necessary to shampoo every day. This allows your natural oils to lubricate and protect your hair. On days you don't shampoo, use a light spritz of Botanical Boost to refresh hair.
Never twist or squeeze water from your hair; instead, let the towel do the work. Gently pat excess water from hair.
Balancing Rinse can also be used as a leave-in moisture treatment. After towel blotting excess water from hair, apply to fingers and scrunch through damp hair before applying your styling gel.

When applying Climate Control Gel, begin by raking fingers through underneath layers of hair first. Then, beginning at the crown, rake downward towards the ends, and lastly rake from the temple and forehead to the crown. This will ensure complete coverage and help prevent the under layers of hair from stacking out when dry.

I purchased this Curl Confidence kit off of the TV ad and all I can say is WOW. I followed the directions to a tee and my hair has never curled like this It is so beautiful and shiny, I am blown away. All I can say is that anybody that has given this a bad review did not follow the directions you do not need a bonnet dryer for the deep conditioner, If it is crunchy use the pomade also after hair is dry run hands down hair like you are putting It in a ponytail the helps get rid of the crunchie's
