He has embraced her curl technology and has happy, curly haired clients to show for it. He recently revisited the Ouidad Salon Workshop as Arthur believes, "You never stop learning".

    Shelley, having curly hair her whole life, grew up with the understanding of her own hair texture. She took her career one step higher by completing the Ouidad extensive curly hair classes and certification and has a strong curly hair client base in the greater Boston area. Shelley's personal hair philosophy, “I love changing a persons' image by styling the hair in a way that the individual feels as if they have their own personal hairstyle. I create a look that makes them feel special and not what everyone else may have with the bonus of being able to go home a recreate what was done for them in the salon”.

      I've been going to Arthur for 2 years now and love him!!!!! I live in Maine and the distance is worth the haircut. He suggested how I should wear my hair for my face shape and I've gotten nothing but compliments since then. I love my curls now for the first time in 10 years. He is worth the hour and half drive!!!!!

        My 9 year old daughter, Brynn, has used Ouidad since she was three - it's the only thing that allowed her to have long, beautiful curls - ones that she gets constant compliments and raves about literally on a daily basis for all of her 9 years ... she loves her hair - THANK YOU. The real reason I'm writing is that after 9 years of no-trouble hair, somehow she got a pony-tail knot that as the more we tried to free it and untangle it, the worse it got. Literally within days, I realized we were going to have to get it cut! Most importantly one must realize that other than her 3 carve-and-slice hair maintenance at the Ouidad salon no length was ever really sacrificed, so it was beautiful and long, she has never had her hair cut - her only memories of who she is was the beautiful girl with the beautiful long curly hair. It was a Sunday when I realized there was no help.I knew we immediately had to go to a curly-hair salon, but knew the NY salon was not an option at this point.I called the A. Quinn salon in Cambridge.As soon as I began to explain our situation Arthur booked her after hours, as he was booked all day. He saw her himself and made the whole experience such a joy!! There was not one tear shed that day ... only warmth, understanding, and lots of smiles and laughter. This was a huge life altering event for her and it turned out to be a wonderfully positive one because of him and his staffreceptionist. As you know, there are not enough words that could ever express our thanks to him - just the fact that they could have easily said they had no openings, and didn't, and then were so welcoming, warm, and that because of him my daughter proudly left with a smile and a bag full of hair and although she left with just inches of hair left on her head - she loved it, and knew how wonderful it looked.THANK YOU, Patti

          When I made plans to visit a friend in Cambridge, I was overjoyed to discover it had a Ouidad salon. Arthur's is the fourth Ouidad salon I've visited, and it was a wonderful experience - great haircut, lovely salon, fun conversation. I hope I have a chance to return even though I live on the other side of the country altogether!

            I have been going to Arthur to get my Ouidad Hair Cut for about 7 years already. He is absolutely wonderful and is worth the hour drive to get to him and his salon. Arthur makes recommendations on what Ouidad products I should be using and he is always right on.
